About Us<\/h1><\/span>

Twin Lakes Camping<\/strong> is a second generation family-owned business that started as a dream back in 1966 @ which time Reginald Guillemette owned the property, then sold it only to purchase it back twenty years later and go ahead with building a campground.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Dream to build a campground but at this time, property was used for excavation and sale of sand and gravel and the dream was put on hold and property sold.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

R\u00e9ginald & Aline Guillemette purchased property again, excavating the last of viable gravel forming two lakes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Open camping business with a beach, 3 lots, public washrooms, laundromat and built the chipstand.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Building the Nest – 1993 to 1996<\/a><\/div>

The house and office were constructed, and in the next few years, more lots were added, flowerbeds and\u00a0 pavingstone walkways around the lake.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The New Beach – 2001 to 2004<\/a><\/div>

Second beach was added & stone walls, up to 14 feet high and 1400 feet long.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Passing the Dream over<\/a><\/div>

The park now consisting of 135 serviced lots, waterslides, beaches, playgrounds, chipstand, train car and house was sold to Dennis and Nicole Wilker.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Playground – 2005 to 2007<\/a><\/div>

\u00a0A big playground was added, the first beach was dug out, we removed weeds and poor material and new sand was put in.\u00a0 Surveys, planning and much more work had to be done towards the M.O.E. application for expansion to obtain approval.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Under new ownership, many ongoing projects and general upgrades were completed, an application for more property expansion around the second lake commenced.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

New hydro line and a work shop (30’x50′) were constructed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The New Land<\/a><\/div>

Approval for expansion of up to an extra 182 lots.\u00a0 Construction started immediately for an additional hydro line and sewer system to service up to 70 lots.\u00a0 22 lots were completed and rented out this first summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

40 lots were now complete and there is demand for more.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

New Facilities<\/a><\/div>

New 24′ x 30′ comfort station featuring 2 bathrooms only, 2 bathroom\/showers, a laundromat and utility room was constructed and more lots at the end of the second lake added.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

3rd Beach on the Horizon<\/a><\/div>

Start work on converting sand pit to sliding hill and a third recreation beach area for more lots.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

In 2017, Twinlakes Camping was sold to new Owners Ken and Joanne Guindon, for which their dream of owning a little paradise comes true.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
